I sympathize immensely - I had big self-esteem issues at your age. It's not easy.

You know what helped a lot? I decided to look better. I started working out and as shallow as it sounds, it did wonders for my self-esteem. I don't think others reacted to me any differently, but *I* felt much more confident, and I think everybody is attracted to confidence.

Make an effort to look good, smell good and treat women well and you will find someone. Maybe not this year, but it will happen if you make an effort. I can't wait to read your first "I met someone!" thread.
