Who doesn't watch tv at all?
i don't. It isn't some form of snobbery to say that, I just don't. i have no clue what is on tv until I read someones reaction on a thread somewhere.

Why watch tv? I don't feel I miss anything. I watched the convention online, and can read about anything else I may care about.

2. Gave it away in '89
Lived in my parents basement a few years after college in the Early 90's had one there.

I enjoy watching an hour of so of CNN every week or two when I visit my folks.'

My eyes are drawn to TVs in bars ...

Wish I could watch the Daily Show ...

Am fine with watching the last season on Sopranos and 24 on DVD.

Have c-span.org ...

4. My wife and I
watch a lot of HGTV. (Home improvement geeks) Jeopardy, Sopranos and an occasional movie. For the last 6-8 years I haven't been able to watch the rest of the insulting garbage. If that makes us elitist snobs....

5. 18 months now with out "reality TV"
football games and the world series is all for me. cant say i miss those commercials

snobbery? it is interesting to note that at any given time the front page of GD will be half full of threads commenting about whats on one of them talking head shows, or some other program. who cares? the ratings for them shows are marginal, only political junkies watch them. Turn the damned thing off, I say

although i must say, i saw some clips of The Daily Show online and that looks pretty good, but i still aint picking up the remote

8. I have gone several years in my life............
without television. I find its really nice not to have all that advertising shoved down your throat and not to mention the plethora of insipid programming. However, I really do enjoy The Daily Show and Adult Swim when I get to see it (which isn't very often).

I work on the road sometimes and television, sadly, is usually the only salvation from the mind-crushing boredom of hotel living. But I usually confine my viewing to sports or some of the TLC/History/PBS fare.
