15. I read an article on the psychology of clown makeup, including Gacey's.

If you notice, most clowns use softer colours, and rounded edges to their makeup. Gacey's is very contrasty, and all his makeup shapes come to sharp points. It's very aggressive on an atavistic level...our brains register facial markings like that as 'danger'.

13. From the evil clown movie "Vulgar"

Vulgar is a low-budget bizarre film about a kid's party clown who tries to turn around his loser's life by becoming "Vulgar The Clown", a transvestite clown who entertains at adult parties. In his first gig at a man's party, he gets raped and humiliated by the father and his two sons. Later, when he appears at a young girl's birthday party as the old good clown and saves her life from her whacko father, he becomes a media hero and gets his own clown show on TV. He becomes a TV clown celebrity. But the father who raped him with his two sons made a video tape of the event and tries to blackmail him. That's when Vulgar The Clown turns to murder. It's a grainy, cheaply made film but quite bizarre.
