The Dao of attracting the opposite sex
Why is it that when you have no interest in dating or are otherwise unavailable, all the opportunities begin to appear? Sort of a 'he who does not compete has no competition?' sort of thing? I would have killed for this inexplicable aura about two years ago.

2. LOL, ask your favorite history teacher how often these spellings change
Genghis, Chinggis; Cheng Ho, Zheng He--goes with the territory. 'The Way' has been spelled both Tao and Dao.

4. well sometimes when you're in a relationship
you are more "attractive" to people on the prowl than you would be if you were single. I don't know if it's always about putting another notch on the gun, so to speak, as much as some people want the stability that people in relationships can represent. In fact sometimes being in a relationship can be an indicator to other people that you must be worth being in a relationship with, which can get you more attention than is prudent.

5. Also...
people that are in a relationship (compared to people that aren't and want one) tend to be more positive, outgoing and relaxed, so they are more attractive to other people.
