1. Can't wait to see this film
I was a huge fan of the series. I just hope they don't go too far over the top due to the lack of standards and practices. That's what made the series funny, pushing the limit, but not going over it.

3. Remember the "N word" episode
and the liberty bell? I thought the series was pretty far out there.

6. I love your avatar...
I have a 3-yr-old Boston Terrier. He's very smart, too -- gets his own towel when his feet get wet & plays the piano for treats. :)

4. I watched the first season of that show on DVD.

I decided not to watch the second season and I'm sure I won't be seeing this movie. That character, Jerri Blank, is just so grotesque in every conceivable way. I can't do it. I'm surprised I got through the entire first season.

5. My grown son loves it
Has the DVD and all that. I've watched most of the second season and there was lots of funny stuff and cheap laughs. Steve Colbert was outstanding as was the guy who played the principal and the guy who played the artsy arts teacher. That being said, the main character was the most offputting and grotesque role I can ever recall seeing on the tv screen.

It made me remember telling my kids not to make that face or it might get stuck that way. If only poor Gerry had someone care enough to say that to her...
