1. Ah, the 80's heyday of post Zep mythologizing...
...Remember when Page and Plant were cloyingly cryptic about even addressing Zeppelin or Zep songs. So much so that when Plant even so much as sampled a bit from Zeppelin songs in one of his solo tunes, it had everyone all abuzz.

Littled did anyone know they would eventually go on to tarnish their legacy just like every other classic rock band.

I have to say though, I liked that record by The Firm much better than I did any of Plant's solo stuff.

2. How do you think they tarnished their legacy?
I guess you could say the collaboration between Page and Puffy.

3. That Plant/Page album was pretty shady....
..and the whole Unplugged thing as well. All those years of saying they wouldn't reunite and then reuniting with just the two of them to trot out the old standards was pretty cheesy. If they had just gotten together to collaborate on new songs that would be one thing. But to just re-work the old standards was pretty much a Rod Stewart thing to do.

6. I actually enjoyed the Unplugged thing.
I thought that it was cool. Though their snubbing of John Paul Jones was shady. Though, I am not sure if that was truly the case or if Jones didn't want to.

4. The first Plant album wasn't bad.
From that point on, however, it was crap. I though the Firm's album was, too, but I wasn't expecting much.
