We don't have one here. I stopped at one on vacation and bought half a dozen donuts. Damned things are good!

I would weigh 400 lbs if a Krispy Kreme were located in my hometown.

I was on Atkins last year...I still don't do many carbs since then. But I experienced a carb overload--a delicious one---when I ate three Krispy Kremes in one sitting as I was driving through Birmingham last week.

Coming from Massachusetts, I thought Dunkin' Donuts were just fine... until I came down here to North Carolina and started eating Krispy Kremes. Now I understand why DD can't compete down here. No one wants the thick cake style of DD. There's a name for the style of donuts KK makes, I just don't remember what it is.

However, for those in Montgomery County, I'll put in a plug for Montgomery Donuts. I grew up eating them almost every weeknight on my way home from school, and if I hadn't had such a high metabolism, or had had more spare cash, I probably would have been a porker by 12th grade.

7. we have had them since way before I was born

AHHHHH!! YES!! The best doughnuts... I am 33 and I live in Morristown and we always go down to Knoxville and get them. They have them in the grocery stores all over East TN and they are delicious..... They are best when you go to the shop and get "HOT NOW" Krispy Kreme doughnuts. They stay open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dunkin Donuts are garbage compared to Krispy Kreme....

every morning to our local grocery stores, but I will not buy them anymore since finding out almost all their political contributions go to the GOP.

One day a month, I have an "eat crap day". Breakfast is usually Krispy Kremes. We don't even "officially" have one, but a local supermarket gets them delivered fresh every morning. So good. :D
