6 ft under last night: anybody hear Claire's friend call Mo Dowd so stupid
Edited on Tue Aug-03-04 11:54 AM by trumad
Snarfed out some desert when I heard that. She was reading the paper at the breakfast table and just blurted it out.

The last 3 episodes of that wonderfully written show has included some political points like the one above.

1. It is clear that...
"6 Feet Under" is doing its small part to take down Bush.

Bravo!

2. Loved it...
it's been uber political these past few shows. Just subtle little comments, but great ones.

3. Missed that one, but I caught the opening of last week's show...
Nate was reading the paper at the breakfast table and threw down the paper saying something like "He keeps on lying and gets away with it!" He didn't name Smirky but you knew that's what he meant.

Love it.

6. I'm SO HOOKED on that show!
It's so beautifully done...from the cinematography to the dialogue...absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. I love the new political undertones...nice work.

Didn't one of the DUers at the Convention get a pic of the guy who plays the mother's new husband? I think it was posted here.

7. Couple Episodes Ago George Was Reading ...
"Perfectly Legal" at the breakfast table. He throws down the book in disgust, and someone asks him what's the matter, and he replies "nothing, just the destruction of the middle class".

8. That was great
I kind of like George and think that Ruth is a little nutty.
