Does a 10-year old need a lapdance?
Edited on Tue Aug-03-04 02:05 PM by underpants
I'm arguing with my brother. He's divorced with two kids (he's non-custodial). The kids have always been rather (and by rather, I mean extremely) spoiled. My brother's been fairly broke the last couple years and now has a business payoff. He's got a whole list of goodies to buy, including a lapdance for the kids (10 and 13). I'm arguing with him about this - I say no kid needs a lapdance. They've also had cellphones since they were about 5. I think that's crazy, too.

Am I just crazily old-fashioned? I think it's nuts. These kids already don't give a shit about ANY gift I give them because it's not worth hundreds. They already have an incredible menagerie of animals at my brother's house: guinea pigs. rabbits, two dogs, two cats, two snakes, a skink, a chinchilla, and a few more I'm forgetting.

And yet the kids are never pleased. Sigh...

3. NO!
Does anyone NEED a lapdance?

Should any CHILD have a lapdance?

I think not.

When they turn 18, let them buy one for themselves.

4. I'm pretty liberal, but...
10 years old is WAY too young for a lap dance.

Heck, I think 13 is young for that.

Maybe 16 is acceptable.

6. Even if they have a "skink"?
misspelling from Dookus's original thread that I missed.

7. Is this some kinda joke?
The answer would be a solid NO. In fact, it could very well be against the law. I would talk your friend out of it....

9. If your brother gets his kids a lap dance
he can kiss his visitation rights goodbye.

It seems likely that you got all the brains in the family, so you should make an effort to explain that to him.

Courts seem to frown on sexually related activities conducted around minors. Some sort of law thing, I beleive.

15. Jeebus, don't you hate it when your cat fools around with the copying
machine? Making copies of his furry little cat butt to show to his cat buddies so they can stand around smoking catmint reefers and snickering?

13. RIght! Got me! Imagine thinking a parent in this country would be
stupid enough to get a pre-teen a lap dance. I must be crazy or something. It should have been obvious that it was a satire.

I still don't get it, though.

14. See here
Dookus's thread about his brother buying a laptop for his kids. I copied it almost verbatim changing "laptop" to "lapdance" and editing out two sentences that didn't make sense in this thread. A "skink"?
