I just proudly took my youngest to cast his very first ballot. The little lady at the end process got busy loading our ballots into the Accuview scanner(EGADS!)and he stood there. When she looked at him he said he was waiting for his I VOTED sticker. Now he is walking around saying, "Now I am a REAL Murican!" Proud mom here.
Good for you. Someday I want to do just that. I've never voted with my sons. It took me years to convince my eldest to vote; he finally votes on a regular basis. I'm not there with his younger brother, though. He still refuses to vote. :-(
On the other hand, I know the eldest will vote to evict GWB this November. :D
came of age under Bush* and have watched me react from before the selection. I don't know if I frightened them more or if Bush* frightened them more. Whatever, it worked. I simply told them that the course of their life was in part decided by those of us who do vote so it was best to help influence the outcome. Good luck.
