Poll question: Is there a nude photograph of you somewhere in the world.

I've often wondered what percentage of people have posed nude as an adult for at least one photo, and I've read some studies that give widely varying percentages, so I thought I'd find out about the DU population.

In college (more than twenty five years ago) a bunch of us liked to skinny dip. Some of us took pictures, and quite a few of us had B&W darkrooms, so we could make pictures all by ourselves, without sending the film out to photo labs.

The funny thing is that one of my old college buddies found a few of these pictures on the internet recently, and she gave me a heads up.

I was surprised. The sky did not fall in, and as far as I can tell, using google images and other search engines, they have not been disseminated far and wide.

I'm just another skinny naked guy in B&W, not exceptionally endowed in any way.

Thus emboldened, I posted a tasteful but very silly little picture that compared my naked butt to Arnold Schwarzenegger's naked butt. Believe it or not, Arnold still got elected.

Arnold's naked pictures on the internet don't seem to have harmed his political career. And, somehow (I don't know why) Dr. Laura Schlessinger still has her radio show.

I have 2 or 3 of me taking a bath with my first baby. I was 17, so that's not quite adult, I guess. Anyone who bothered to go through my family albums has seen them.

The only pic out in the world was one my mom took of me skinny-dipping in a stream in the Sierras when I was 14. Still not quite adult, but I was physically mature. That one disappeared when I was 16. A boy I was dating saw it in the photo album, and it "mysteriously" disappeared; it was gone the next time we took out the album. I have no idea what he did with it, but it definitely made somebody's rounds.
