When you elect a commissioner, judge, or other local official,
do you vote along party lines or do you find out what they have to say and vote for who you agree with the most?

I've never seen one try to get our votes on any medium yet I see signs for these people.

1. It is almost impossible to get info on local candidates
I live in a different county than where I work. It's sparsely populated, has a paper that comes out once a week that no one reads.

I guess you are supposed to know all the candidates personally. So, for the most part, I vote on party lines. I do know a few of the politicians. I have a town councilman who lives behind me. Really our village is really well run and they do a great job.

I wish I lived up here in the big city of Zanesville, since that is where I am active and care about the politics which might affect my store.
