Leno "counterprograms" Letterman - Dennis Miller on tonight
:puke:

As if anyone would want to watch that douchebag instead of the Big Dawg.

1. Leno must be paying his audience to attend tonight then.

2. I'm glad you mentioned that.
I forgot that he was gonna be on tonight. I'm curious to see how he does. Last time he didn't do to good cause at the very beginning he made a joke about he passes the time up at his house in New York 'blowing away' - meaning in his saxophone. But the audience took it another way and laughed. That seemed to really throw him off and he just seemed to ramble on after that.

I'm amazed that somebody as bright and savvy could have said something so easily misinterpreted like that, but he did. He needs a good performance tonight tog et back in Letterman's good graces and make up for it. I'm sure he will.

4. Dennis Miller... *shudder*
I have zero respect for Dennis Miller. When he started off, he was a big-time anti-corporate crusader. Suddenly the winds shift and he becomes a right-wing, free enterprise dickweed.

Same complaint for Bill Maher, actually... although I did thoroughly enjoy his performance with Michael Moore recently.

3. besides his lunatic political slants..
...I hate how he uses long rambling one sentence analogies, like some modern day bloviating, can't shut up or end the sentence windbag with a seven dollar Choice Cuts Flock of Freakin' Seagulls wannabe haircut and smarmy Gauranteed Men's Warehouse conservativly blanc high school graduation suit with a tie so Limbaughish and tight that it's amazing that he can get the entire rant out of his cynic loudspeaker of a mouth before he or the audience forget what the hell he was talking about in the first place, Cha Cha.

5. His 15 minutes of being funny (and relevent) ended about seven hours ago.

It's kind of sad. He should have never "ventured out on his own". It's so painfully obvious that he couldn't write his own material and when he couldn't sell the same schtick over and over decided he sell his soul (and credibility) to the Devil's proctologist to be liked again...no matter how uneducated and small an audience they were. And as soon as he's done being used, he'll be cast out into the gutter and having burned all his bridges.

Sorry...I'm in a foul mood tonight.
