2. I'm owned by a sissy dog.
She's a Rottweiler, but she's a real wimp.

3. Yes. Just this morning I watched the power play.
I put down the dog's food bowl for breakfast. The cat beat the dog running over to it. The dog stopped about five feet back. The cat sniffed the food, drank some of the water, sniffed the food a little more, then sauntered off past the dog, who then felt she was free to go to her own food bowl.

I'm pretty stubborn. I know how to say no and stick to my No with 12 and 13 year olds, so my cats can't push me around much. My eldest cat use to sit and stare at me until I'd get up do what she wanted me to do. I finally put an end to that. I told her no more, and now she'll meow and meow and meow until I can't stand it any more.

Since there are five cats, there is constant power plays taking part everyday. The 20 lbs. male cat rules, but the younger male often makes a power move only to have the big cat put in his place. My big guy is getting up in age, but the younger cat is a bit of a wimp. Usually all the big guy has to do is puff up, stare and posture to get the little guy to back down, but there have been times when the fur is flying.

Power plays between two of the girls that look like & most likely are identical twins take place all the time over the people in the house. My eldest cat, a female likes to watch the power plays, but she refuses to have much to do with all the other cats that found their way to my house after her. I think that comes from the years that my neutered male big guy would jump on her back and try to mount her. She really hated that. :hippie:
