1. Nothing much happened that year. It was a snorer.
For me, 1995 and 1997 were full, busy years, but '96? :boring:

3. Taking summer classes
Bored silly with no one in town. Watched the Olympics for some goshforsaken reason...I remember cutting my hair that year, and that's about it.

8. Let's see...
Age 24, 2 kids, working on degree #1 still, got online that year, and happily married. The last year everything was pretty good. 1994-the end of 1997 were the happiest years of my life (so far).

12. I moved to Germany
...to pursue my dream of an opera career. Or that's what I told myself. It was really a grand, dramatic gesture, the only way I could think of to get out of the clutches of a miserable job situation. I sabotaged my own efforts the entire time I was there, and I came back after about three months.

Some good, some bad.

Turned 20 (or 24, if you actually believed the fake ID, LOL).
Lost one of my good friends in a car accident.
Got engaged.
The Olympics (and the bombing).
Left a job I hated and got a job I loved.
TWA Flight 800.
Voted for the first time - for Clinton.
That damn Macarena.
A great vacation through Canada and down the East Coast.
