19. cashews aren't tree nuts?
Maybe I haven't had any of them.
Pine nuts actually hit me the worst - makes it really ahrd to swallow...

And thank God I'm not allergic to peanuts - I think I'd die without them!

28. Nope, that's my understanding

my throat swells up if I eat pecans or walnuts or pine nuts or
almost any tree nut, and I can have a little trouble with
red wine (not as severe). OTOH, macadamia nuts are OK (but I
don't care that much for them) as are coconuts.

Check with an allergist first... you may be different than me.
But I can eat peanuts and cashews all day... and pistachios now
that I think about it.

make me sick as a dog.

I don't know if I'm allergic or what. But I must either order foods without them, pick them out of stuff, or cook them before eating.

25. Chocolate, red wine, walnuts and green pepper
Chocolate and red wine give me heinous migraines. Walnuts give me bleeding canker sores in my mouth and massive unpleasantness all the way through my digestive tract, and green pepper makes me burp for days.

Too much information, I know.

27. Melons, raw tomatoes and Avocados
I love them all, but I'm allergic to all of them. A former doctor from 25 years ago told me to try eating them every so often because most people out grow food allergies. The food Co-Op I shop had cantaloupe samples, and I love cantaloupe, so I ate a handful. Five minutes later I was wheezing, coughing and dizzy. :-( :hippie:

33. Dairy with me, too.
It was like as soon as I hit 30, I could no longer tolerate dairy. (well, I can, but only in small, measured doses.)

Sad, too. Nothing beats a good Double Gloucester or Gruyere cheese!
