Dear Webmaster,

You are a liberal, who by definition finds fault with America, and to make matters worse, you wear a fanny park. The lowest of the low!

5. the definition of "liberal" is "one who finds fault with America?"
Then I should hope we're all liberal, 'cause there's a helluva lot wrong with this country.

That doesn't keep me from loving my country, from being a patriot, or from fighting for my & others' rights.

Freepers just don't get it.

I've been trying to make that point for years. According to Repukes, anyone who criticizes the President is a non patriot who hates America. So, by their own definition, they are all non patriots who hate America, because they slammed Clinton without mercy for eight years. And to any Repuke lurkers out there, I'll put this in terms even a moran can understand - practice what you preach, or shut the fuck up. Assholes. P.S. - FLUSH RUSH

15. What a "classic" bad argument style
1. Define something in an incorrect way.
2. Criticize the something based on your own incorrect defintion.
3. You will the argument - duh!

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

16. Merriam-Webster defines "liberal" thusly....
Main Entry: 1lib·er·al

Pronunciation: 'li-b(&-)r&l

Function: adjective

Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, from Latin liberalis suitable for a freeman, generous, from liber free; perhaps akin to

Old English lEodan to grow, Greek eleutheros free

2 a : marked by generosity : OPENHANDED <a liberal giver> b : given or provided in a generous and openhanded way <a liberal meal> c : AMPLE, FULL

3 obsolete : lacking moral restraint : LICENTIOUS

4 : not literal or strict : LOOSE <a liberal translation>

5 : BROAD-MINDED; especially : not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or traditional forms

6 a : of, favoring, or based upon the principles of liberalism b

capitalized : of or constituting a political party advocating or associated with the principles of political liberalism;

especially : of or constituting a political party in the United Kingdom associated with ideals of individual especially economic freedom, greater individual participation in government, and constitutional, political, and administrative reforms designed to secure these objectives

- lib·er·al·ly /-b(&-)r&-lE/ adverb

- lib·er·al·ness noun

synonyms LIBERAL, GENEROUS, BOUNTIFUL, MUNIFICENT mean giving or given freely and unstintingly. 17. side comment
something else I just don't get....

GOPers are always asserting that if the average-Joe just exerted a bit of effort, pull themselves up by the bootstraps and take responsibility for their own lives that they can succeed and achieve the American Dream.

Well, John Edwards did just that. Coming from a working class family - he put himself through college, established a successful law practice and achieved the American Dream

yet, GOPers are bashing him for doing what they say we should be doing.
