4. Actually this blog is amazing in that it sounds like a BIG portion

of the military is pro-Kerry. Check out what this pro-Bush soldier is writing.

"There is a popular belief out there that all members in the military are gung-ho Pro Bush. That is not entirely true. There is a very large portion of servicemen that support the President and the administration. I am among them. There is however, a just are large portion that are liberal to the core. They subscribe to the conspiracy theories that “Bush sent us here for oil” and the like. Their belief system does not affect their job performance, rather their morale in times like this. I have known this for a long time. Since I have been on active duty, I have had several (friendly, of course) debates with liberal troops and NCOs.

I bring this up because there is a large number of soldiers that I work with who are passing around a bootleg copy of Michael Moore’s new propaganda piece “Fahrenheit 9/11.” Even though people are free to think what they want, believe what they believe, and watch what they want to watch, I personally believe that this is a very dangerous and stupid thing for troops to be watching. It only feeds to their already established anger that they are away from their families and worldly possessions and comforts. Although they have already made up their minds about it before watching the movie, they all come out of it saying “I hate Bush! I’m voting for Kerry!”

When I ask them what makes John Kerry more qualified to run the country than President Bush, they say “Because Kerry served in Vietnam! He’s a war hero! He won three Purple Hearts! Bush is a deserter!” You know, the usual.

Here’s the first question I want to ask – not just to the soldiers who say this – but to everybody who constantly touts Kerry’s military service and that it somehow more than qualifies him to be President:"

We weren't in a fucking WAR when Dole or McCain were running. Now, we are. Hence, the demand for credentials. Jeez.

I asked him to tell the truth..."How much support does Buxh have among the troops in Iraq" ?

He told me "None of his friends like GW and they plan to vote Kerry".
I again asked him, adding "No really, how many" ?
He became very adamant at that point and told me "They hate Buxh over there".

That's from the horses mouth...Is it any wonder I recently heard that the technology doesn't exist to get an accurate vote count from the combat vets ?
