I'm reading USA Today... Why? Because every freaking hotel provides them.
Literally every hotel where I stay provides a copy outside the door every morning. :wtf: What a freaking rag! Yesterday the front-page headline about Bush's "BUMP" in the polls after the Dem Convention and today's "Anxiety keeps oil prices elevated." Everything printed in this piece of shit is geared to sway Americans to believe that Bush is great and anything bad happening is not his fault.

Tomorrow I will tell them to save a tree.

1. Do it!
The more of us who complain about that rag, the fewer hotels will carry them.

3. I will! And I will do it every time at every hotel.
Apparently, they take 50 cents off your bill if you do. I can add it all up and send Moveon.org a little extra.

2. But why does every hotel provide them?
Because they would have NO distribution to present to their advertisers were it NOT for every freakin hotel providing them...don't toss them..we can give them to my friend for her bird cage :D

5. According to David Brock's book "The Republican Noise Machine"
that's one of the moderate papers out there.

Please, stop banging your head against the wall. You don't need the brain damage

14. USA Today is a comic-book.
I take that back, you would learn more about what's going on the world by reading a comic book.

15. Ain't THAT the truth.
The irritating thing is that people traveling have only THIS as their news. They are being brainwashed by a supposedly "balanced" news source, combined with CNN which is the only news channel you normally get in hotels, and DAMN... a hell of a thing, eh?

17. USA Today is basically geared towards 4th graders.

The Weekly Reader (kids magazine) is more informative than USA Today when it comes to news.

I will admit this (putting on flame-retardant suit): They have a really good sports section.
