My co-worker in the cube next to me. ..
Smells like hell. I can't take it anymore. It's a combination of chain-smoking, excessive nightly drinking and unwashed clothes. He's a great guy, but something has to give. Today it was unbearable. Should I tell him myself or ask Human Resources to do it?

1. In this case it may be safer for you...
If you asked H.R. to call him in and tell him. That way you can remain annonymous--a good thing in this situation, IMO!

B-)

7. Honestly. . .
That's what it was like today. The funk was all in my space. . . in addition, he burps incessantly. Just nasty as hell.

10. I made a joke once. ..
before it got too bad. His hair was really greasy and I asked if he was investing in oil these days. He laughed and wasn't at all offended, but his lack of bathing is not funny anymore.

11. I do worry about that. . .
They have fired some people lately for what I think are frivolous reasons. There's a lot of upheaval lately in the company, and I think that he is acting out a little bit. I think he knows how offensive he is.
