Pentecostal Teen Follows Bible - ALWAYS Wears Skirts When She Plays Sports
<snip>

Teen whose uniforms have skirts takes sports, religion seriously

Jennifer Hutcherson is often recognized as that girl from Chester County High School who wears a skirt when she plays sports.

Hutcherson's uniform includes a skirt whether she's playing volleyball, basketball or softball for Chester County. The skirt isn't for the sake of high fashion - she and her family are Pentecostal, and this is just one part of their values system.

''We believe what the Bible says - that women are not to wear men's apparel, that there is a separation of the sexes,'' Hutcherson said.

Hutcherson, a member of the Madison South Debs softball team, completed her final week of playing softball this week in the World Series at Malesus Park.

4. What's the Bible say about women playing sports?

Skirt or no. She'd be serving god better by
baking cookies, sweeping floors and dropping
babies. I'm sure Fred Phelps is outraged.

10. I've got some news for these idiots
None of the men in the Bible wore pants. That's right. None. They wore these long robes that look an awful lot like dresses.

So where does that leave women who can't wear men's attire, according to the Bible?

You guessed it!

12. Pointing that out to people like her family...
never seems to do any good. We used to have Pentecostal next door neighbors when I was a kid and the father in that family used to make the mistake of nagging my momma about wearing pants and other crap like that. She could quote chapter and verse of the bible right back at him to prove he was being an idiot and it never made a dent.

My favorite moment was when he tried to quote the bible to prove speaking in togues was a "sign of a true believer". My mom was able to pull out the rest of the quote where it mentioned healing the sick and being bitten by poisonous snakes but not dying. She asked him when was the last time he did that. Shut him up pretty damn quick. :) GO MOM!
