Any Other Carolina Panther Fans Here In The Lounge?

Since I am new here I was just curious who my fellow Cat fans were. What are your thoughts on the upcoming season?

1. I am one!

I don't usually get too into everything until just before the real season starts, but we've got a good chance to repeat in the South, if we can just contain Vick. 3 games against him, 3 losses. It kills me!

2. The Key Will Be (IMO)...

how does the rebuilt O Line stand up...it's not incredibly deep...If their new free agent signees on the O Line (Adam Meadows and Travis Claridge ) can stay healthy and contribute, then I expect a heavy dose of Stephen Davis and DeShaun Foster to keep the ball out of Vick's and alot of other opposing QB's hands this year. D should be solid again Peppers, Jenkins, Buckner and Rucker is as good a front four as there is in the league. I like our CB's and Mike Minter.

3. yeah - that is my worry.

And really the only one. Can the O-line hold up all year?

It sould be interesting. I don't follow any sports close enough to be able to talk in detail about their chances, but I have a good feeling about things.

6. Even More Than Results On The Field....

I am sensing that folks in the Carolina's are truly starting to fall in love with this franchise. Winning will do that but I feel this on a deeper level. Panther fans have been criticized by some for not having the passion that other NFL fans re their teams. I see that changing. When all the old Redskin fans die out (not that I'm wishing for that! LOL) the transformation should be complete!

7. I like what one guy said on the raido back during the Super Bowl.

When asked if the peopel backing the Panthers now taht they were in teh SB were real fans he replied "Screw 'em, johnny come lately, fair weather, no cat backing MF's! We don't need 'em!"

I'm not a huge sports fan, but I try to follow local teams.
