Ok, i grew up in Iowa, spent much time on the farm. Kinda seems like a trick we played on city folk, hey, you don't need to cook that corn, go ahead, it it raw...




PS - raw corn - not tasty - and if you hit a worm - not very sterile.

You can be sure he never heard of it in his life and was doing it for purely stunt purposes.

90% of the corn grown in that state is either used to feed livestock or create Ethanol.
