I'm back from the treatment center....

Got Benydril through and IV (wheeeeee!) and the swelling is going down.
So, all is serine once again at camp Barkley.

I had a coke in a cup with a straw. Me (:dunce: :kick:) picked up the cup and put the straw in my mouth without looking. Then, the tip of my tougune started hurting like crazy. as I took the straw out of my mouth, I saw the wasp fall to the floor. (where the little fucker got stomped on! :evilgrin:

Thank you for all who posted on my other thread. I should of had a picture of it...me typing with one hand while holding a cup of ice to my toungue with the other.

I saw the first thread right after you posted it and thought you were joking! I wondered how anyone could get stung on the tongue but now I know. Sorry this happened, that had to hurt. I am glad you are OK.

4. I share your allergy! That's WAY scary!

I had to go ER once via ambulance when a bee stung me as my throat was already closing down...did they write you a script for a bee-sting kit? It's IM epiniphrine...it would save your life.

6. Actually, I'm not allergic.

I have the worst luck with yellow jackets. I manage to stick my head in a yellow jacket nest while crawling around behind a bush when I was a teenager, and another time one stung me right on the eyelid and I couldn't see for a week! Now, I manage to get stung on the tongue.

I guess nude picnicking should be crossed right off my list :P
