My brother in law; "God of the Pigs."
Now this ain't no pig poop.

In a remote area of South Carolina near Walterboro to be precise live Jack and Frances my brother and sister in law. Their property is on a tidal creek. Across the little creek is an little island. On the island Jack put a couple of little pigs to raise for food.

To feed them Jack made an elaborate device which dumped corn whenever he operated an electrical switch on his side of the creek.

Now as pigs often do they grew older, copulated and produced a whole bunch of cute lovable little piglets of various designs an color shades (So Frances sayeth). When Jack operates the feeding device all the pigs go into happy feeding frenzy. I am sure they believe that a God is watching over them.

The times Jack goes to the island to refill the automated feeding device the pigs go wild, jumping up and down on Jack; their God. They love Jack and Frances those pigs and the cute little piglets do.

They sent us some pictures of their cute little piglets which they WERE raising for food.

Hee hee hee.

6. before i die i hope someone makes it into a film i can see.
sturgeon is my favorite author. i think he wrote the best short stories in science fiction. too bad that the recognizition of his skill as a writer is fading with a new generation of SF readers who don't know much of his work.

and salinen, glad to see others like ted's work too.

5. Funny story
Now, they know they are going to either have to get those pigs "fixed" or get a bigger island, right? Too many pigs spoil the pudding, or something like that.
