Computer networking equipment question.....
Radio Shack has a sale on a Motorola Wireless-G Networking kit with router, desktop, and notebook PC Cards for $89.99. I know about Linksys, Netgear and a few others, but for the whole package is Motorola a decent unit? For other brands I'm looking at well over $100 for this lot.

1. can't say from experience..
I use a Symbol Spectrum24 myself, and a couple of my neighbors use Linksys. ;) Seems like a pretty good deal, and I haven't heard anything negative about Motorola's network gear.

3. Thanks!
This way the kids can have their internet downstairs and stop bugging me, and we'll have the laptop for anywhere else. And if it's crap, I'll just return it.
Now to convince my lovely, generous, caring, beautiful wife....

4. The other possible issue I may have as well
is that I believe it is 2.4Ghz which is the same as my cordless phone. I've heard that could mess with it, but there is a work around as well to this issue.
