I didn't watch the show regularly because it was a "kids' show" and I wasn't a little kid anymore. LOL So I guess I always thought of her as a little kid, much younger than me--and it turns out she's only a year younger!

Westwood, CA. I'm a junior at UCLA, and just happen to be 'browsing' in a local liquor store when Maureen McCormick comes in and asks if I can buy some booze for her. Little did she know that I was 3 1/2 months younger than she. (I didn't know that myself until just now).

Always the ultra-cool, suave individual, I hemmed and hawed for a suffcient amount of time (hummina hummina hummina) for her to leave the establishment in frustration - probably to try again with someone a tad more articulate and responsive.

I myself had to rely on my good looks and lax enforcement of Los Angeles liquor codes to make my own purchase.
