2. North
I think I've been culturally programmed to feel that way.

3. Well, personally, I'd LOVE to go South... if you know what I mean.
"South of the border, down Mexico way... South of the border where the tuna fish play" like Junior Soprano

4. Obviously North
Better winters, springs and falls. Also Canada, snowfights, ice hockey, snow football, and ice fishing:)

8. Depends on the time of year
South is very appealing in the middle of my winter.

9. South, definitely
I so long for the deserts of the Southwest...Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico. Ahhhhh. To heck with winter and snow and ice--Bah!

10. North! Positively.
Seeing as how I've lived in Southern Calif. almost all of my life - ANYTHING north would look good.

I love the snow. Would like it 365 days a year. Yes, I'm strange. LOL. So I'd go north. And someday I will.

As for the 'south' - it's too 'south' for me. Except for New Orleans. I could go there and just eat my way from one end of the city to the other. (Then move back to the snow and lose all the weight in no time flat. Work outdoors in that COLD weather. The EASIEST diet in the world.)

14. This subject appeared last night at about the same time as...
the thread about Mike Malloy calling Southerners stupid. Don't know why people continue to pit region against region. It's not like the "North" was solid Gore in the last election. Seems I recall LOTS of red states in the "North."

13. South
It's warm like a womb and got lots more critters, especially reptiles & amphibians. I live in the SE and always vacation further south.
