1. Come to Texas. It sure as hell ain't freezing here.
Right now it's 80, with 71% humidity. x( We're heading for a high of 94 with a 30% chance of rain. THAT is a cool front compared to the temperatures earlier this week. I was out registering voters last night, and it was FREAKING HOT!!!

10. You're from which state?
I assume it's ideologically pure? Quit casting stones if you live in a glass house.

I just gave my reasons for why Texas is the armpit of Hell! & I didn't even go into the redistricting fiasco. So How did I make your point? On edit: Playing coy with me doens't work. :)

19. My point is that there are no ideologically pure states.
And calling another state the armpit of hell because of half its residents sounds odd when the person saying that lives in another state which is also run by the same band of incompetents.

22. Like the great, liberal state of California?
Which gave us Presidents Reagan & Nixon--& is one Constitutional Amendment away from giving us President Schwarzenegger? Down here in Houston right now, I'll admit there are some Hellish aspects to the place. But the next few days promise highs in the low 90's!

I'm thrilled that the temperature has dropped a little. Now I actually feel like being active. I think I'll take a walk, do a little shopping, maybe even work in the yard. 90 and humid SUCKS.

going up to 80 this afternoon. Cool front over the weekend with just reaching 80. I'll have to get out and enjoy the weather this afternoon. at least it cuts down on the amount of ozone hazard days. Back to scorching humidity on Monday.

The air had a cool autumnal feel this morning. I love the change of seasons. I'm not keen for summer heat.
