Seinfeld on DVD
I'm somewhat ambivalent about this. On one hand it is easily my favorite sitcom. On the other hand, I can catch them in syndication at least 2-3 times a day on various channels. And since I don't particularly take advantage of DVD extras, not sure what the allure would be there for me.

On the other hand it would be nice to have them archived and have access to specific episodes whenever I feel like it.

1. You do know that George, Elaine & Kramer refused to add their
perspectives on the series to the extra material featured on the DVD, don't you? There was a dispute about money, and the three actors opted out of involvement in the project. A big minus in my books.

2. I just read that they came to resolution....
At least that's what I thought I read.

Like I said, I rarely listen to commentary or watch extras on dvd's so that's neither a plus nor a minus for me.

5. They'll look much better than on tv as well
DVD is much higher resolution than what goes out over the air...

Also, no commercials!

6. And we'll finally be able to see the WTC episode again!
It was taken out of syndication after 9/11. I think the plot of that one was that Kramer rented the top floor of one of the towers for his Millennium party, and Newman rented the top floor of the other one for his party. But now that the towers are gone we have to pretend they never existed in the first place.

They did the same thing with the episode of The Simpsons where Homer's car is parked between the towers, and there's laundry strung between them, and a bunch of other jokes that we're not allowed to laugh at anymore.
