DU is a sprawling, fast-moving place. Lots of posts get 'lost in the sauce.' Besides, I can't expect everything I post to garner appeal. Everyone has their own priorities and tastes, and if nobody responds to my post, no biggie :)

sometimes it's when things are moving fast and furious around here and new post just get swallowed up. Other times, it was a silly post and I'm greatfull when it just goes away. Finally, there are some post where people read it and don't really have anything to say.

Whatever the case, it doesn't hit me personally at all.
