My Friends' Band, The Mydols, Were on The Today Show!

Not just performing, but a five minute segment on the band. I'm so excited for them, getting all that exposure.

They're an all chick band of moms from the Detroit area, every one of them on the "wrong" side of the thirty. They have about nine kids between the four of them, and still they rock!

Of course, Detroit bands are almost always cool! B-)

9. I don''t quite fit the stereotype

although my son has played soccer. But it is good to rock out, great stress reducer. I think an old band crony of mine sent me an article about these women. Cool.

That's why they ended up doing this. Personally, I think the soccer thing is hysterical. They never imagined in a million years they would end up taking their kids to soccer practice in a minivan. I think the band is a sort of therapy for them.

BTW, most of them work as well, quite successfully too. :-)
