O, yes!! Stinky shoes. The stinkier the better.

:9 :9 :9

Love them when they're warm and taken right off a foot that's been wearing them all day. Can almost see the stinky steam rising from inside them.

:)

Ooo, I could almost eat the stinky, sweaty soles out from them!!

:D

Love to rub my nose in them. I'd get my whole face inside the shoe if I could.

:P :P

Ahhh, stinky shoes. Steeeeenky shoes. Life doesn't get any better than this.

:7 :B

Sometimes I like to just lie down in the closet where all those shoes are and just bask in that wonderful scent of old stinky shoes.

:freak: :freak: :freak:

Does anyone else have a cat with a stinky shoe fetish?

1. I laughed when I got to the picture
and suddenly understood.

He is in Kitty Heaven, but Thunder had a SERIOUS stinky shoe fetish. He'd stick his entire head in your shoe just as soon as you got them off. Then he'd lie on top of them and sleep. They were HIS, dammit! LOL!

2. ZenLeftyGirl's shoes after a 12 hour day at work
Those are the best! Better even than my shoes after going to the gym. I think my cotton socks absorb too much of the stinkiness, but pantyhose lets a lot of that stinkiness soak right into the shoe.

There's a cloud in kitty heaven covered with eternally stinky shoes. :D

3. I have three ferrets with a stinky shoe fetish.
They like them only slightly stinky, though. They love my shoes, but they generally stay away from my husbands very pungent boots. They adore the smell of my mother-in-law's slippers.

7. Do they drag them and hide them places?
I hear ferrets do that. :o

4. I used too.
When I was a kid, my cat (who was spayed to) seemed to try to hump stinky shoes. Very odd indeed.

5. LOL, I was worried there for a minute
I had a cat named Puff when I was growing up who loved stinky shoes, especially my brother's sneakers which she would sleep with her head buried inside. Her second favorite pillow was his *ahem* used undergarments.

She looked almost exactly like the cat in the picture except she was orange where he is black.

She's in that kitty heaven now where the clouds smell like ooow-ooow that smell.

6. Ahem. It is not a fetish, thank you very much.
The stinky shoes are life-giving sustenance! One must lay upon them, roll upon them, sleep upon them! Hiss when they are removed. Mourn when they are finally taken to the garage, where they meet their final resting place. Sulk for days.

But wait! there are some more stinky shoes! Sandals and deck shoes and running shoes and mowing shoes and basketball shoes and even winter boots which you can go totally inside and they stink a lot, and hiking boots and sometimes the humans even leave the SOCKS on the floor, the this takes the stinky to another dimension.

Humans just don't appreciate the beauty of the stinky shoes.

What humans are to newspapers.

9. If I drop my worn underwear on the floor,
my cat jumps on them and rolls around. But a clean pair - nothing.

10. I read once
Edited on Sun Aug-08-04 02:04 PM by ZombyWoof
That cats love smelly shoes because of a certain compound found in human sweat having an "endorphin" effect on the cat. They literally get high off of that compound. Their sense of smell is more sensitive than ours, being natural hunters. It is almost universal among cats.

Hilarious post! I can almost believe it is YOU with the nose-ring, I mean, stinky shoe fetish. :-)
