Any Chicago DUers: freeform jam at Kitty Moon tonight!

A friend of mine just opened this little joint in Rogers Park, so if you want to come and jam, or just listen to some great local talent, come to Kitty Moon tonight! Here are the directions:

Tonight, there will be a bunch of us hanging out and playing, but it will be a very diverse range of styles: A jazz percussionist, a heavy metal bassist, a drum and bass DJ, several punk rockers, and of course yours truly, who is still mired in goth/industrial noise.

If you want to come and listen or play, it will very cool! It will start at about 9PM, and apparently we will try to go until closing without breaking the beat. If you want to contact me, I'll be checking my DU mailbox throughout the day.

Here's what we need:

--Anyone who plays any kind of horn, stringed instrument, or electronic device. Bring your own instrument. If you have an amp and can bring it, please do; we don't have enough inputs.

--Microphones and stands! We're going to run out.

--If you want to read some sort of poetry/spoken word stuff, bring it. That could be cool!

Bring earplugs! And don't hit on Mrs. Cat, please.
