12. Synthetic fabrics also use oil...
Polyester does. I think nylon does as well. I even say nylon license plate bolts at Target for $2. From nylon? I'll stick to steel, steel seems sturdier somehow...

8. Cotton for everyday wear...
Silk, linen (if it's lined; I'm a bit allergic). Polyester is the Fabric of the Beast.
