The inarguable superiority of American Spirits
They will be my ciggie of choice until the day I quit -- the regulars, the lights, the organics when I can find 'em, whatever -- but they're damn near impossible to find in Downtown Cleveland on a weekend, and I had to work today, during the exact same hours that the tobacconist's in my neighborhood is open. So I settled for a pack of Camels (my old brand) from the corner store - ugh, once you get used to Spirits, you can completely taste every nasty-ass chemical they pump into normal cigs. I've only had 3 of 'em and my mouth tastes and feels like I've been chewing on alluminum foil. Must ... get ... decent ... smokes ...

Important smoking-thread addendum: First person to post that I should quit is a Bush supporter.

6. Used to smoke Chesterfield Kings,
then Pall Malls. It was the unfiltered Spirits that got me into the brand to begin with. I can't take the filterless anymore, though. I'm not enough of a man, I guess! :P

4. I Took Some American Spirits as Giveaways
on a trip through Eastern Europe to Istanbul. Never failed to get attention -- people were fascinated with them.

And only smoke American Spirit cigs. They are the greatest and have vitamins in them too. :) I get them at a local tobacco store that carries the whole American Spirit line. I smoke the lights myself.

7. They are the best!
Couldn't find them for a while and tried some of the usual brands - and I almost passed out! There is a big difference.

8. No doubt.
I'm just about dying for a burn right now, but part of me would rather just have the fit than smoke a regular one.

9. I used to run a convenience store, and I know of every brand.
And no offense, but the brand most smokers in the store have told me were the worst are American Spirits. One guy said it was like smoking prairie grass that was burnt in a kerosene fire.

And for the record, I don't smoke. But I won't tell you to quit.;)

10. Try "Drum"
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 10:51 PM by BiggJawn
You'd have to roll it yourself, and it is not made in Holland anymore, but it doesn't have all that shit that RJR and B&W puts in their shit.

I think that may be why I had such an easy time quitting 18 months ago....

Wanna see me blow the bottom out of a 2-Litre pop bottle?
