1. Worse...sadly, worse.

As bad as it has been so far, we are in deep and in for deeper.

As good as it will be to have a fully human president if Kerry wins, the problems are beyond the local, and I see weather becoming increasingly a problem. Catastrophically so, with food and water becoming issues of crisis proportion.

We are trapped by technology and will turn to technofixes, while simpler cultures near the equator fare better, initially, the first world is in for it.
