Old pulp
From the site:

Michael's Sketchy & Sci-Fi Book Covers
WARNING!

There are lots of GIF's and JPG's on this page so it'll take a while to load. (only about 3sec. for me on fiber--psypp)

For those of you wondering about all this stuff, these are book covers and movie posters, mostly from the '50s and '60s, which I find humorous. Some are from science fiction movies that actually good, such as Blade Runner and Metropolis, and some are from movies that aren't, and some are from books that obviously aren't. They are all real. Also, all of these pictures were stolen from random websites, and not a single one is mine. I love the Internet.

Much more 5/60's pulp. props to fazed.org for the link

1. Those are great!
What I wouldn't give to have a copy of "Psychedelic Sex Party"! You just know that screams Top Quality Literature! Here's my favorite out of my own collection. Those capri pants drive the men wild!:D

5. Bernard Wolfe?
He's actually a good writer...

That's the other thing...they put these 'steamy' covers on just about anything: Faulkner, Norman Mailer--

--one of my prize possessions is a steamily-covered (hot-blonde and rugged man) paperback of Vladimir Nabokov's "The Gift".

7. Yeah, it's actually a great book, but it's pretty silly as well

The cover is amazing, I think. On edit - it was published by Macfadden Books, which was known for adding that extra touch to their publications.;)

2. And I also own a copy of Marijuana Girl as well
I don't know, the plot wasn't so good, I kind of lost interest. And the character development was just so-so.;)

Glad there is a kindred spirit representin' since I was feeling timid about catching heat. Note that I posted the tamest of the more interesting ones.

It's hilarious to look back at people's kinks back then. I guess we are producing our fair share of potentially hilarious stuff these days, too.

8. That pic isn't showing up, love
But I have had my doubts about Satan's sexuality for quite some time.

9. Hmmmm. Shows up fine on my PC, sweetness.
I'd say Satan is mostly a hetero-missionary type.
