6. Good spelling! But is she even going to be there? She's pretty low on the
list of good Russian tennis players!

13. Kournikova is so 2000, it's all about Maria Sharapova now
Rowrrrr.. Further proof of the BS myth that all Russian women are ugly. I live in a Russian neighborhood (in Denver) and the women are just stunning. They're also the kindest people I've ever met.

15. Just wait until she's 60! Actually, Russia is so huge, the women (and men
can look very different depending on where they're from. Many look almost Asian.

I think Eastern European people are the best looking in the world, and Sharapova is from that mold.

5. Did you see that PBS special the other night? To keep it accurate, they
didn't clothe the athletes, although you really couldn't see anything. Had to have a parental warning at the beginning!

14. I read that he is now studying law in Britain.

He amassed quite a fortune after the Olympics, but filed for bankruptcy shortly after.

He's still the coolest to me. Those were the most fun olympics to watch, thanks to him. :-)

18. I think it was, because I had a job at the time when a lot of people from
the London office were visiting, and I was giving them grief about their lone Olympian!

one, am over it. All professionals, all on steroids. Sort of takes the mystique away.
