Firin' up the grill!
I'm gonna grill some steaks that have been marinating since last night, and some brats, and a potato too. Anyone elsee got the grill going this fine Sunday?

That is so beautiful, I almost hate to eat it. Almost.

The butcher in this town is god-like. His fresh kielbasa is to die for. Grills up right nice, too.

5. I wish there was a real butcher here
All there is is the grocery. I'm gonna have to start making my own sausage, because good bratwurst is hard to find here. Had to use the local brand tonight, which is OK but not that great.

3. BBQ chicken thighs
Dry rubbed and seared, then slow cooked with custom BBQ sauce brushed on thick. My BBQ chicken is orgasmic. I just love thighs, they're super cheap and easily the best tasting part of the chicken. Since I can't afford beef any more, it's a good substitute.

4. I'm smoking some leg quarters tomorrow
along with some baby back ribs.
I agree, the thigh is the best part of the chicken, especially the oysters.
