BREAKING: Hell freezes over
WASHINGTON, DC (Shocking Elk Wire) - The political right today officially renounced its long standing preference for small federal government. In a shocking press conference, a wide range of right-leaning pundits and analysts unanimously asserted that presidential hopeful John Kerry has not made enough laws given his lengthy tenure in the Senate ...

3. Well,
I decided to break the news on DU,

Maybe I spend too much time on battling right-wingers on their own turf, but a common battle cry is that Kerry hasn't sponsored a single bill that's passed ... which is completely untrue, but a battle cry nonetheless.

4. Oh, I thought you were serious.
I thought you were referring to a serious article. My bad.

It is a funny argument though. I maintain those are the neocons that wish to expand government and not the true conservatives.

5. This is what I think:
They're people who already hate Kerry for no reason and are looking for as many reasons as the can find to hate him even more. Even if those reason don't make a bit of sense.

6. I think it's silly to say "people that hate Kerry"
It's like when the neocons tell you, "they hate us for our freedom". It's just nonesense. It has nothing to do with hating Kerry. They just want to get their neocon thug re-upped for another four years so they're doing everything they can to discredit the man.

Many responsible conservatives have seen through the tactics of the neocons and are siding with the Democrats in this election.
