Just saw him in Portland over the Fourth at the Waterfront Blues Festival. I think he was actually a bit shocked at how many people show up, but what an amazing performer. And a prolific songwriter to boot.

a few weeks ago outside, for free. He was really cool. Now my 8 year old wants his CDS. I have never seen so many people at this particular venue.

He's covered a few old blues pieces along the way, but usually does his own stuff.

I'm a bit impatient about the wait, however. It could be great road music for some upcoming trips that we've got planned!
