3. Are you going to sell them back?
Edited on Mon Aug-09-04 02:46 PM by JVS
I never do, just out of principle. I would rather pass up the $10 per book just to know that those assholes will not ever profit again off of the same book that I was economically assraped for.

6. Oh yeah. Any book for the major, especially technical majors...
should be kept.

Don't sell back the other books though. It only helps those parasitic merchants. An Art history book can make a good coffee table book. A sociology book can make a good book for when you're on the can. To help them rip off the next person for the paltry amount they give is an insult that I refuse to suffer.

was something like 60% back, I couldnt resist that. But, since Im done with mostthe garbage classes (intro stuff, dumb humanities) I wont be.

7. By sophomore year, I never bought books
until at least well into the semester, if I needed it. I noticed that having the book really made no difference for most classes -- some even had you buy a $150 textbook that you never cracked.

Screw that.
