I answer the phone and some chap interrupts my 'hello' with 'May I speak to the lady of the house?'

I say that I have none and he proceeds to talk about a survey on sex and violence in the media.

He then asks for another qualifier (if I have children or see children under the age of 13 twice a month) and I said no. He then said that the survey was for young families only.

WTF? I may be single but why can't I speak my mind? SOme of 'entertainment' does go too far. What's up? :shrug:

polls are skewed. by limiting participation, they can get the results they wanted all along.

2. I called called today too

Gallop. I saw it come up on caller ID and said OH good. Thinking they would be calling about politics.

Damn them, they called about alcoholic beverages. Well I answered them but it's just not the same.
