I had to turn off "Outfoxed"
Just got the DVD in the mail today and I could only sit through about half of that. But only because I have a low tolerance for bullshit and with all that Hannity & O'Reilly in the tape it just made me ill to my stomach :puke:

How in gods name do these 2 idiots have a voice on television. After the segment on the Jeremy Glick episode on O'Reilly I just had to turn off the DVD and hang my head in shame. I cannot imagine how ANYONE can justify asking their guest "what would your dad think of you!" "I hope your mother isn't watching".

Fox should be ashamed of the propaganda they have labelled as news

1. finish watching it...
by the end of the movie I was ready to kick some FNC ass... they end on a fairly up note of what we can do to stop the bullshit.

4. I just got mine the other day
Haven't watched it yet. I'm saving it for a special occasion, like when I've eaten something off and have run out of ipecac.

5. One hell of a documentary.
Just re-watched it as I taped it for a friend.

Heavy-duty. Greenwald's best so far.

6. It's Greenwald's best movie since XANADU
And I mean that in all sincerity, since I think Xanadu is one of the greatest movies of all time.

I bought extra copies of Outfoxed to send to my Dad (who is a HUGE Fox News guy) and to share with the wingnuts at work. It truly is a phenomenal film. With all of those clips, Greenwald truly hoists the Fox News phonies with their own petard.

7. Xanadu did rock, didn't it!
the part where the Big Band and The Tubes comes together still blows me away to this day... forget about the blues tonight... sweet thing...

8. I wanna dance with you...until the sun starts creepin' through...
Oh, blessed be, you're bringing tears to my eyes.

I never understood why Jeff Lynne sort of disowned his work with ELO for this movie. I think "I'm Alive" and "All Over the World" represented some of the best work ELO ever did. Just recently Jeff Lynne covered "Xanadu" on an ELO compilation, acknowledging that although Olivia Newton-John gave us the "gold standard" version, he wanted to revisit that song, so maybe he's getting more comfortable with the greatness that was...Xanadu.

It's so good to hear from another Xanadu fan. It really is a great movie.

9. I would have to take a pill for my nerves first
I don't know how you could stand watching even half of it without taking something to calm you down.

If you have high blood pressure you might want to take something for it first.

:grr:
