1. Mine isn't there yet...
I still want to lie on an island smoking pot and drinking crazy mixed drinks out of coconuts with lil hats in them...

MY island btw.

5. BTDT.

It was fun for about 3 months... then became tedious.

Hardest decision to make every day was what to put with the
rum in the blender.

Small Island... only about 2000 residents, became like a
small town, full of gossip mongers and shit. Looked forward
to the occasional small cruise ship so there would be someone
new to chat with at the local watering hole.

when I turned 23 last year . Take your time , enjoy your alone years while you can . But I know the feeling , I have been crazed about weddings and anything related to kids ( TLC in the afternoon ) all of a sudden for some crazy reason .

I am going to buy a new puppy instead .

I am quite the catch, liberal, vegetarian, and half black with makes for a nice skin tone and a little bit of justified rage against the man :-)

9. well I'm not a crazy veggie
as are willing to wait until the kids can make their own choices as to what to eat to feed them meat then I am fine with that. As long as you don't make me cook it, and when you cook you keep it separate.

Also our kids would be sooo good looking with genetics like that.

13. I don't make that kind of money
yet. Even if I ever did I kind of lie the feeling of making a meal, and I do make the best salad mescal mix with cashews fruit and crumbled blue cheese on top.

But I would only say that to cover up how limited they are. They are mostly different ways to make tofu taste like something other then tofu.

6. It's normal
Hell, I'm 19 and sometimes I get those thoughts...
But then I remember I'm 19 and have a ton of time to do what I want to do and create a foundation for a family; no need to pop 'em out anytime soon before I can create a healthy family :hi:

22. My clock is winding down. lol.
Just hit 48, baby and husband free. Had a few months of 'maternal instinct' when I was 32. Literally. Kept having dreams where I was pregnant. Then just like that, they stopped. Never wanted to have children other than those few months. Never wanted a hubby either. I shoulda been a hippie. :) Free love and all that fun stuff!

But if I base your question on the behaviors of all my close girlfriends when they were your age, then yes, you are normal.
BUT, wait a while. You are young. Enjoy life, travel!

I can't imagine what it's like to want to have kids, but you have my deepest sympathy. It'll probably pass soon.

24. This is normal but ill advised
there is a lot of empirical evidence to show that once you have children, your body rapidly starts falling apart. Your metabolism slows down, regeneration deminishes, etc etc.

Fruit flies usually live about 2 weeks. One scientist has put a gene in the flies that causes them to reproduce at a later stage in life. Now, a dozen generations later, these flies live for months at a time.

I say wait until you're in you're 30s before you have kids - that is if you want to live a longer, healthier, and more productive life.

26. You're a man.
My opinion. Men, wait until you're at least 30. Women, about 27 or so. Maybe age matters less, than making sure there's a very strong relationship foundation with your partner BEFORE you have children. Parenting is difficult (wonderful at times, but still difficult) and it's a shame when children have to pay the price because of their parents (speaking from experience and pain on this one).

Anyway, good luck in your quest. :)
