Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas looks freakin' AWESOME!
Apparently, San Andreas is a region, not a state, with 3 cities all equal in size to Vice City in the last game. It's going to be huge!
And now, your guy can swim, too. Oh yeah, and changing hairstyles, tattoos, etc. Read on:

2. I think it's gonna be the best game ever.
I comes out at the end of October and I think it's gonna be the only thing keeping me sane right before the election.

3. Looks awesome
I wonder if the 3 cities are unlocked at the beginning or are they areas which need to be unlocked. Also, does anyone know what kind of mini-games are going to be in the game ?

4. From the FAQ page on my link:
Q: What kind of mini-games can we expect?
There will be on-rails shooting segments where we have to gun people down while literally riding shotgun in a car that someone else is driving. There are also gambling mini-games of unknown type that apparently makeup a fully operational casino.

More cab-missions (pizza deliveries, ambulance driving stuff, vigilante stuff, et cetera) will also be included. Side-missions also now help develop "skills" for use in later plot-critical missions. How playing around in a fully operational casino boosts Carl's skills, we still do not know.

Sounds awesome!

5. Not just three cities the size of Vice City...
but each city is connected by distinct suburbs each the size of GTA3.

6. Looks like it may have elements of a fighting game
In which case, I won't buy it. Otherwise, I may have to pick up a PS2. Anyone know how much hand-to-hand stuff there is, with combo moves and all that?

7. Ah, that's crap. Calling it a fighting game because of combos...
...is like calling Vice City a flight simulator.

8. This is true
However, I am notoriously uncoordinated, and the last fighting game I managed to play was Street Fighter II. Everything after that was just out of league.

As long as I have the option of murdering innocent bystanders with a shotgun, I'll be happy.

10. See, I've always thought the GTA3+ targetting system was crap.
I've seen they've worked to improve that, but I always thought blowing away bystanders with mac-10s just wasn't as fun as it should have been.
