An idea for a protest activity I would love to do...

Did anyone see the HBO movie "Iron-Jawed Angels"? It was a movie about the suffrage movement during the early 1900's. Hillary Swank played Alice Paul.

There was this powerful movement in the movie where Alice Paul and the other women are standing right outside of the White House sometime after the US entered WW1. No one expected the Suffragettes to continue their daily protests outside the White House because the United States was at war and we shouldn't bother him with such 'trivial things'

This one scene was really powerful because Alice Paul still went with the group to make their stand. She would then read a quote that Woodrow Wilson had said about freedom & democracy. After she read the quote she would crumple up the piece of paper and toss it into the fire.

I would love to do something like that today, but instead we would use some of the dumbass quotes Bush has been saying.

Think I could do this?
