US Women's Soccer defeated host Greece, 3-0.

Because that's a sport we can't win! </sarcasm>

Sadly, interest seems to be waning quite a bit for the Olympics. Perhaps this time around we're so damn worried about imminent terrorist attacks, what John Kerry did or didn't do while he was IN VIETNAM, and other attention diversions to notice that it's that time.

Or it could be that the rest of the world hates us and "forgot" to invite us to the party. ;)

3. There is so little hype compared to past Olympics
seems so to me anyway. In the past there was always some excitement built up around a certain athlete or rivalry.

9. Olymipics are ignored because the Olympic movement is corrupt
I can't stand the Olympics. Do we really need something for the world's royalty and titans of industry to act like they care about their fellow man? Give me a break.

There is more integrity in the WWF.
