Erma Bombeck is funny.
I am thinking of this because of another thread over in GD. Erma Bombeck was hysterical in that she could make the most mundane of lifestyles...that which I am immersed in...laughable. She was an enjoyable treat for me to read at the end of a day doing all that is boring in life. She did this without profanity, without racism, with grace and with class.

She entertained so many of us, and she is missed. Now that is what I call comedy.

I think my favorite book of hers is "If Life Is A Bowl of Cherries, What am I Doing in the Pits?" :D

4. She wrote this great piece once about first, middle, and youngest children
and my mom cut it out and sent it to me and my sisters because we would always talk about our "issues" in relation to birth order. I wish I still had it, it was really sweet.
